On Thursday December 14th 2017 an interfaith community came together at the Lutheran Church of the Redeemer located at 285 Dale St N, Saint Paul, MN in unity and remembrance of a tragic event that has become all too familiar these days. The event had a host of multi-faith leaders speak, advocacy training, a national speaker, and even some performances!

Protect Minnesota's Twin Cities commemoration of the Fifth Anniversary of the Sandy Hook Shooting featured an Advocacy Training for 85 volunteers (which included information about current gun bills, power mapping, messaging, and coalition building) followed by Erica Ford and some fabulous young musicians from NYC, at the Interfaith Service of Dedication for all victims of gun violence. The tall tapers represented the Sandy Hook victims. The 300 small candles represented the 150,000 love ones (500 per candle) that have been taken by gun violence since Sandy Hook.” – FB Post Protect MN

#EricaFord, CEO and founder of LIFE Camo, Inc. Wow! What a dynamic speaker! I'll check out her TED talk, "From Angry Peacemaker to Heart Leader"
